Insulation Jackets
Jade Direct manufactures their own removable heated insulation jackets and covers; the added heat source can provide enhanced frost protection through process control where required.
Not tied to any single heating provider, Jade Direct can use a range of heating products within the jackets, however, trace heating tapes are the industry-approved solution, either self-regulating or constant wattage, depending upon the application.
Our recognised method of including heating tapes into the covers is to sew pockets on the inside face of the cover/jacket and thread the required amount of heating tape at the correct wattage into the pockets.
Systems can have variable control thermostats mounted onto the covers or pre-set bimetallic switches inside the covers for predetermined temperature control.
Insulated IBC Jacket
Larger systems, such as tank covers, can be manufactured in smaller sections for ease of handling, with plugs & sockets to link the heating system for ease of assembly.
From our standard item range, Jade can supply IBC (intermediate bulk container) jacket systems along with 205ltr drum covers with internal heating ranging from 500 watts to 2000 watts. Details of these can be found on our standard products pages.
Jade has also worked with companies to develop their own specific bespoke heated solutions, including food delivery bags, specialist packaging, hose reel covers, tank covers, eyebath insulation, shower systems & many other applications.
