Insulation Jackets
For many years the construction industry has ignored the requirement to insulate valves, flanges & pumps within H&V environments. However, with an ever-increasing focus on the environment & energy saving to reduce both operating costs & the end user’s carbon footprint, companies have been looking for a cost-effective, simple solution for these applications, such as valve insulation jackets.
Jade Direct can design and manufacture removable valve insulation covers to help with the maintenance of hot water systems to prevent heat loss across fittings that cannot be included within the standard insulation & cladding of the pipe work.
H&V covers are supplied for applications up to 80°C to include valves, flanges, unions & pumps as required. For increased temperatures, please see our plant room cover section.

Valve Covers
The covers can be retrofitted to existing equipment or from the initial build to reduce energy usage.
Jade Direct has over 50 years of combined experience supplying quick turnaround covers for small projects to large-scale construction sites, including schools, hospitals, hotels & recently, a new build prison with over 20,000 units.
Our jackets are constructed from single-side silicone-coated glass cloth on the inside and outside faces with 25mm mineral wool insulation. They fasten using velcro fastenings and side tie cords for a quick and easy installation or removal.
Our valve insulation jacket designs are mostly supplied from the client’s measurements. However, a measuring service can be provided to ensure you get the perfect fit for your heating and vent installation.
